PUPPY TRAINING
I evaluate every client and their puppy individually and put a great deal of thought into what will work best for each dog. With consistency, clear boundaries, and reward, the end result should be a well-mannered dog. In my training, obedience comes second.
Initial Phone Consultation
Once you submit the New Client Intake Form, I will contact you for a brief phone consultation. During this call I will learn more about you, the issues you are facing and the goals you would like to achieve. We will then choose a training package that fits your needs.
Puppy Field Trips
Have a new puppy but work full time?
One on one field trips with a trainer is made for you! Vaccinated puppies 6 months and younger are welcome to this program and must be comfortable napping in a crate. Your puppy will spend 4-6 hours with a trainer going to various locations in nearby cities, parks and stores. They will gain valuable experience learning about the world, building confidence and learning many foundation skills also taught in our Puppy Essentials program.

Puppy Essentials (3 – 6 months)
Tailored to puppies 6 months and younger, skills learned will advance each week through in-home lessons. This program covers mindset skills including how to settle on and off of place, handling skills for easy grooming, appropriate toy play, impulse control and more! Formal commands will be taught in subsequent packages.
*Includes a variety of helpful training equipment to get you started, such as a door tether, clicker, drag leash, and elevated dog bed.
Any behavioral or house training challenges will also be addressed in these lessons.
Developing Your Dog (6 – 9 months)
At 6 months old your puppy is likely potty trained but far from done growing up! As their brains mature, they are capable of learning more complex skills – walking nicely on leash, not jumping, sit, down, leave it and come are all taught in this program. This program will also have you venturing to nearby parks to practice their new skills.
*Includes training collar and long line with optional elevated bed ($70).

Tempering Your Teenager (9-12 months)
At 9 months old, your puppy is entering adolescence and likely to push boundaries, often regressing in training they previously exceled at. This program is here to keep you on the right path forward, providing you with adequate structure and support as your pup navigates these hormonal changes.
*Includes training collar and long line with optional elevated bed ($70).
Note: Behavioral concerns exceeding normal teenage challenges may be better suited for a different program.

Finale – Puppy’s First Year
Having completed the basics, your pup is ready to earn their off leash freedom! In the Finale, your dog will come vacation with us to ensure public manners are solid, greetings are respectful and learn the Ecollar for ultimate freedom. Following your pups stay, you will have two additional private lessons to make sure all their learning translates back into your home.
